Trapaonda
Inspiration
"Trapaonda" was formed in 2019. Inspired by the musical experience and the complicity of its musicians, the duo cultivates its creations in a rich soil of diverse cultures.
The guitar drinks flamenco and meets a forest of percussions, sometimes Latin or African, sometimes coming from Asia.
Together they vibrate and heat up, evoking atmospheres from here and elsewhere.
This soundscape welcomes the appearances of the voice which distills its melodies in Spanish.
First the wave emanates from a strike, a pinch or a caress.
She then expands through the air and encounters others.
This is where the magic happens, in the mixture of sounds and their own nature.
Rich in their exchanges, the waves sail to discover the world, like the waves of the oceans, always pushed towards new shores.
So it is with ardor, romanticism and above all a lot of energy that "Trapaonda" takes you through "Palos flamencos" and other Latin rhythms, coming to find themselves in a cocktail of abundant colors.

Mariana Marin
Percussion and Voice
Originally from Argentina, she traveled through Brazil to arrive in Europe. This route is done slowly and always through percussion. For Trapaonda, she draws on her Latin cultural background for her rhythms and songs. www.marianarosariomarin.com
Michael Molinari
Guitar and composition
Swiss by birth, he studied classical and flamenco guitar. He draws on his experience and his artistic journey to develop his guitar playing. Trapaonda, a sharing project open to interbreeding, offers him fertile ground for composition.
